On June 17, a delegation of senior examiners from the Chemical Department of the Patent Examination Cooperation Sichuan Center of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) Patent Office visited Ally Hydrogen Energy. They conducted a face-to-face intellectual property (IP) and professional technical exchange, focusing on core practical areas such as corporate technology innovation and transfer, global patent layout, high-value patent cultivation, and IP compliance management.

The delegation of examiners toured the company’s exhibition hall, R&D laboratories, and manufacturing base, where they received a detailed briefing from the technical director on the R&D milestones and IP protection strategies of Ally's core products. During the subsequent symposium, both sides engaged in deep discussions on key topics, including patent layout, trade secret protection, foreign-related IP risk prevention, and the operation and maintenance of IP management systems. Drawing on the practical realities of growth-oriented enterprises, the examiners provided highly actionable and optimized recommendations.

This exchange has provided clear guidance for enhancing the quality and value of our intellectual property. Moving forward, Ally Hydrogen Energy will continuously refine its end-to-end IP protection system, intensify efforts in innovation mining, and strike a strategic balance between patent layout and trade secret protection. By doing so, we will empower the company’s long-term, high-quality innovative development through high-standard intellectual property management.

Introduction

Patent Examination Cooperation Sichuan Center of the CNIPA Patent Office (PECC Sichuan Center): Established in October 2013, the Sichuan Center is a public institution directly under the Patent Office of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). Commissioned by CNIPA, the Sichuan Center undertakes the substantive examination of invention patent applications, as well as the international search and international preliminary examination of PCT international applications. Its expertise spans major technical fields including mechanics, electricity, communications, medicine, chemistry, optoelectronics, and materials.
